Uploading a PDF for download from a page or post
Place your cursor where you want the media file placed in your page or post. Click on the “Add Media” starburst button which sits above your visual editor toolbar.
Click the “Select Files” button so that you can upload a file from your computer hard drive. Select your file and click “Open”
The “file title” is the clickable text that will appear in your post or on your page. Make sure the “Link URL” field is populated – if it isn’t then click the “File Location” button to populate it with the correct data. Click the “Insert Into Post” button.
What you should end up with is a clickable link which points to the pdf file which you have just made available for download.
