Accessibility Integration
At OnCouRSS we take accessibility seriously and so, because of that, we have generated custom code which allows us to enhance any client’s site by building in key accessibility features including:
- Colour contrast options
- Text size
- hot keys / alt keys
- text only versions
By nature, wordpress-based sites are set up to engage descriptive text and tags for all images and non-text items. As long as the users fill in these fields then screen readers will have no problem finding appropriate alt text for images. The site design will need to keep accessibility in mind re: sharp contrast of colors, scalability of text, minimal use of flash and other video components.
