Adding images to posts quickly using Google

Sometimes you need to put a post up quickly and you don’t really have an image to go with it even though the page would look better if you did add one.  A great solution at these times is to use google.com and search using their Image function.  This way you can find a published image and you can filter not only on content but file size as well.  Here’s how:

1. First go to Google and click on the Images link.

Open Google Image

2. Click on Advanced Image Search

3. Input image description, file size (select medium if you don’t want to have to resize the image after download) and user rights - labelled for reuse means you can re-publish the image.  Click the Google Search button.
